Ready for the world
Our strategy leading up to 2030 is called “Ready for the Future – Education for All Who Want It – A Community for Everyone.” In it, we have presented a wide range of initiatives designed to ensure that we educate and develop young people and prepare them for the world that awaits them after upper secondary school.
Our ambition is that everyone who spends time at BG can say without hesitation: “I look forward to coming to BG every day, and every day I go home from BG happy and proud, knowing that I have done my best.”
THE STRATEGY FLOWER
Our goal is that all students will flourish and grow during their time at BG. Therefore, we have designed our strategy as a flower that should make everyone at BG ready for the world. Every petal on the flower helps to make BG the secure choice.
The flower is rooted in these values
Trust
Trust and a sense of security between management, staff, and students. Trust both requires and creates a working environment where security and openness set the agenda. When trust and openness are the foundation, then we can move away from a negative zero-error culture. With trust and openness, we at BG can focus on innovation, development, and motivation.
Empathy
Interest, respect, and understanding for one other. Well-being is the foundation for all academic development. When we create an environment where we focus on people, diversity, and human relationships, we foster well-being. We create an environment where mutual trust sets the framework for our everyday life together.
Diversity
Joy in diversity. Different types of schools, teachers, and students from many countries, and a consistent global outlook give us a life-affirming diversity at BG. Every day, a wide variety of cultures meet on many different levels, creating fertile ground for new perspectives and broader horizons.
Enthusiasm
Energy, engagement, and a desire to get involved. A fundamental authenticity and solid foundation in positive relationships create the basis for the enthusiasm that carries everyday life. This life is centered on freedom and space for academic development and collaboration, independence, and critical thinking. This enthusiasm is reflected in our ambitions, in our openness, and in the joy we take in what we do every day at BG.
Academically enriching environment
A high academic standard within a framework of trust. Good work grows out of an acadedmically enriching environment where professionalism, ambition, and humanity go hand in hand. When BG's staff are passionate about their work and invest themselves in their encounters with BG's students, this creats a sense of mutuality that opens up opportunities for further development for both parties.

Togetherness, presence, and inclusiveness. The curiosity and openness that are essential when learning and broadening one's horizons requires a strong sense of community. At the same time, this community depends precisely on the level of openness and willingness to meet one another, recognize, and motivate one another in the academic and social collaboration that shapes our everyday life at BG.
