The HF program is a full-time, two-year general upper secondary program that aims to develop the students’ orientation towards broader areas of professional life and prepare them for further education. An HF exam qualifies the student for admission to higher education programs at Danish business academies, schools of technology and design, and university colleges. The HF program is only taught in Danish. 

At Birkerød Gymnasium, we have a popular HF program that gives the students a hands-on academic program that is close to real work life. Our students can specialize in sports & society, health & food science, or psychology & politics.  

The fact that Birkerød Gymnasium offers both Danish and English programs makes the school a wonderful mix of national and international students, and you will meet friends from the neighborhood as well as from abroad.
