IT på BG
We recommend that students use MAC OS (Macbook) or Windows as their operating systems for school use. Please note that Chromebook, Linux, or similar operating systems are not supported by the school's IT department. At Birkerød Gymnasium, we have a dedicated IT department that provides support to all students and staff.
We can assist with issues on a wide range of operating systems and devices, including Windows, Mac OS, and various types of smartphones. Our department is dynamic and, in addition to support, also offers advice and guidance with technical expertise.
Programs
As a student at Birkerød Gymnasium, you have the opportunity to access Office365 and TI-Nspire for free. Please note that this access is only valid as long as you are enrolled at BG.
Self-help
As a student at BG you have access to our student page, where you can find help and guides for installing the programs used in the teaching. Additionally, you can find guidance on:
- Printing
- Signing up for the SMS service
- Changing your password
- Downloading Gyldendal's dictionaries
Exams and Tests
The IT department provides loaner computers in limited quantities if your own computer crashes or stops working during an exam.
