PE B skiing in Hemsedal

With great longing for snow, cold and skiing, a very large group of PE B students and teachers set off for the Norwegian mountains on a dark and damp Danish January evening. In total, over 70 ski-loving BG PE students set off.

A good twelve hours later, the bus landed safely with all students and sports teachers in Hemsedal, which is Norway's answer to the French Alps - only with a snow guarantee! The snow was also falling beautifully and the frost bit gently on the cheeks, so after an unusually quick change of clothes, a really solid and good breakfast, the slopes called.

The first day was spent dividing into teams and teaching the different teams. From beginners up to very experienced. Everyone got some good training. And there were some who really are good at skiing at BG.

When darkness fell, it was time to fill up the depots and go to bed early. You get really tired and hungry from the fresh air and the activity on the slopes. So it was quickly quiet in the hallways and rooms.

The next few days offered sun, frost, a lot of ski lessons, sore legs and extra fun in the evenings – and that despite the fact that a few written ski assignments also had to be handed in.

After four absolutely wonderful days skiing, the bus turned back home towards BG, and the sports group could breathe a sigh of relief and just enjoy a well-done trip with fantastic, sweet and committed Sports B students.
