Clash of Classes 2024
Teamwork makes the dream work – we know that! And that's why teamwork was also on the program on Wednesday 21 August for all the 1st year students at Birkerød Gymnasium, HF and IB.
This year, BG again held the very big Class Contest for all 20 first-year classes from both STX, HF, IB and Pre-IB.
The classes met in the Central Hall with their tutors and class leaders and lined up on the ball courts, where the match was to take place. Here, each class had a field that formed the starting point for all the duels.
There were competitions in everything from sack races, spaghetti building, potato tossing and cream bun eating. Class leaders and tutors ensured that everything went as it should in the individual classes, and the intro team consisting of Tilde and Emil were the completely impartial judges!
As usual, the students entered the competition with heart and soul, but there were also good prizes up for grabs. The three best classes were rewarded with a cake man. The result of today's contest is still being discussed in the corridors, but there is now no doubt. The winners were from the STX class 1g6, closely followed by the IB classes Cas 5 and Cas 6.
It was a terrific afternoon with good weather and high spirits, and we are already looking forward to the Clash of Classes 2025 next year!
