Birkerød Gymnasium to Strengthen Talent Development in North Zealand

BG started its elite sports program in 2020, where the program had two Team Denmark-approved students. Since then, the Elite Sports Program has grown steadily and today has 70 elite sports students, of which 43 students are Team Denmark-approved, while the rest are locally approved students with a high sporting level.

Current Team Denmark student and world champion in Cheerleading Alice Birkholm Johansson:

It requires great discipline to complete a high school education while being an elite athlete, and as a Team Denmark Education Partner, Birkerød Gymnasium offers a number of special conditions to make it possible to combine sport and education.
