If you are considering applying for the school year 2027/28, you are more than welcome to come visit our school for a Taster Day in either Pre-IB or IB.

Taster Days will be offered from November to January. 

Due to the high demand for Taster Days, we have streamlined this year’s visit programme into a single module visit, rather than the two-module format offered in previous years. You can register for Group 1, which meets at 8:45 a.m., or Group 2, which meets at 11:00 a.m.

Both groups will take part in the same activities: lunch with a student host, attending a class module, a tour of the facilities, and a group question-and-answer session with a student counsellor. The activities may take place in a different order for each group.

Registration is required. Note: this is a student only event.

Programme for Group 1
8:45	Meet at the information desk by the main entrance
9:00-9:30	Tour the school with a BG student ambassador
9:45-11:20	Attend a class module
11:20-11:55	Lunch with student host (we recommend bringing your own lunch)
12:00-12:20	Group Question & Answer session with a student counsellor

Taster Days Waiting List: 

When Taster Days are fully booked, you have the option to sign up for the waiting list. The waiting list does not register you for a particular day. We will contact you if there is a cancellation. If you have not been contacted by us, then we are still fully booked and do not have additional space.

Open Evening:

We look forward to seeing you at our Open Evening for Pre-IB/IB on Thursday, January 21. 2027 We hope you will attend for this evening for presentations, for meeting teachers and students, and for tours of the school and boarding school.

Signing up beforehand is not required.

Visits to the school: 

If you live abroad and cannot visit the school on one of the taster days or the Open Evening date, please contact IB on this link. If possible, we can then arrange a meeting and a tour around the school. The visit will take approximately half an hour and can also be combined with a visit to the boarding school.
